The sports ute was a title earnt in Australia and hails back to the 70's with both Holden and Ford shoe horning V8's between the chassis rails of those now very collectable examples. In true Aussie fashion they realised that some people needed a car that was practical while still being able to have some fun in and unleash some mischief. This platform continued up to the collapse of both Holden and Ford Australia. With the end of this era it leaves the market fighting over the examples already on the road.
It doesn't matter which camp you represent there is no denying that the XR6 ute we have here looks the business.
Yes its done some KM's but anyone that knows these 4000cc straight six engines will tell you what they are capable of. This particular example has lead and easy life and a lot of the KM have been covered on long open road driving which is the kindest way on the mechanicals. The condition is amazing and you'd be forgiven for thinking it had done half the KM if not less. Presented in brilliant white with a set of racing stripes draped nicely over a set of black factory XR6 alloy wheels.
